Christian Education
St. Paul’s provides nursery service for worshippers each Sunday in a well-equipped and clean facility in St. Andrew’s Hall.
Our church school curriculum is based on the rotation model. During the worship service the children are presented with a short story by the minister after which they proceed to the church hall. They gather together for a brief prayer and praise session before proceeding to their individual classrooms. The church school children, with the help of the congregation, support a foster child from Central America through the Canadian Christian Children's Fund.
St. Paul’s endorses the ‘Leading with Care’ program.
St. Paul’s enjoys a well-stocked resource library. Members may borrow books for their reading pleasure.
St. Paul's Book Club
Our Book Club meets five times a year at 7:30 p.m. in the church chapel on the third Sunday evening in September, November, January, March and May unless otherwise advised.
Bible Study Program
A Bible Study program, lead by Enid Pottinger, is held from September until June in the Miller Room on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.
Movie Nights
On the third Saturday evening of each month, excluding July and August, at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel, films are shown on the wide screen television set with discussion following.
St. Paul's Press
Our newsletter is produced four times a year and includes feature articles generally on a theme, a Bible study on the feature theme, news and photos of events and coming events.
Music
Our four-manual Casavant organ with more than 2,800 pipes and 45 speaking stops was installed in 1911. The antiphonal organ is voiced to be heard above the full organ and has 232 pipes. In 2008, the organ was extensively refurbished. St. Paul’s is fortunate to have had many talented organists at the console, most notably Sir Ernest MacMillan.
Our current Music Director is Blair Havers. Our choir rehearses every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. from September until June.
MISSION AND OUTREACH
